HELP OTHERS

HOPE ni GUILLER VALENCIA

PROVERBS 11:25, “The one who blesses others is blessed abundantly. Those who helps others are helped. Remember, it is more blessed to give than to receive, as written in the word of God.

Dr. Kent M. Keith said this: “If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. People really need help but may attack you if you do help them. Help people anyway. So, love anyway, forgive anyway, save anyway, speak the truth anyway. Do what is best for others anyway. But because God sees, God knows, and God judges justly. Do good anyway—for the glory of God.”

St. Paul taught about this, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men… It is the Lord you serve,” (Colossians 3:23-24). By actively helping others, we’re following God’s mission to bring hope and light into the lives of others. Dapat natin tandaan na ang sabi ng Panginoong Jesus sa Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” St. Paul reminded the Galatians, “Do not grow weary in doing good,” (Galatians 6:9). Whereas in Philippians 2:4, he said, “Look to the interests of others.”

Helping others leads to personal renewal, satisfaction and blessings. You can give without love but you cannot love without giving, as Evangelist Chuck Winsdol verbalized. Share the blessings we received from God, whatever we had comes from our Lord God! (giv777@myyahoo.com)
